Funeral Intimations
Our thoughts and prayers are with all who have been recently bereaved within our community and church family.
Sunday Kidz
Children are encouraged to be part of the Morning Worship from 11am in the Church, and they may leave after the second hymn to take part in Sunday Kidz activities in the Extension Hall. On the first Sunday of each month (Family Service), when there is no organised Sunday Kidz activity, the creche will be available for all children.
Walk ‘n Talk Group
No meeting until further notice.
Junior Singers
Meets on Mondays, from 3.45 until 4.45pm. New members most welcome!
Open to all children of Primary School age.
Boys’ Brigade
Last meeting on Monday 16th December – restarts Monday 6th January, 2025. Regular meetings on Mondays at 6.30pm. Open to primary school boys.
Girls’ Brigade
Last meeting on Thursday 12th December – restarts Thursday 9th January, 2025.
Regular meetings on Thursdays P1 – 3 6.30pm
P4 – 7 7.00pm

Senior Choir
Meets on Thursday evenings. Please check “Notes for your diary” above for starting time this week. New members welcome.
Coffee Stop
Closed until 7th January 2025. Open on Tuesday mornings between 10 and 11.30am.
Drop in for tea/coffee and biscuits. Come and go as you please and catch up with friends
Thursday Chit Chat Group
Meets every Thursday at 1.00pm. This week – Christmas Party.
No meetings on 26th December or 2nd January.
Restarts on Thursday, 9th January 2025 with a Sing Along.
Playtime @ The Cornerstone
Last meeting on Monday 16th December – restarts Monday 13th January, 2025. Regular meetings on Mondays from 1.30 until 2.45pm.
Parents/guardians who bring their child /children, will be responsible for the overall care and overseeing their children at play.
Christian Aid Christmas Card Delivery
We will collect your Christmas cards from Sunday, 1st December, until noon on Sunday, 15th December for delivery on the week commencing 16th December.
Post boxes will be placed in the Church, The Cornerstone, Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Co-op, May’s Coffee Shop, Angie Campbell’s Hair & Beauty, Woody’s, Avalon Hair & Beauty and Sainsbury’s Local.
We ask for a donation of 30p per card. Please wrap cards and donation together before placing in the post box.
PLEASE WRITE NAME AND FULL ADDRESS ON THE ENVELOPES TO ENSURE SAFE DELIVERY!

Foodbank
The One World Committee advises that during Advent donations of Christmas dinners for the Renfrewshire foodbank would be particularly welcome.
This could be tins of soup; meat such as ham or chicken; potatoes; vegetables; sauce; puddings such as tins of custard or fruit, or jelly. Snacks such as crisps, chocolate, mince pies are also very much appreciated. Donations must be alcohol free.
The Christmas dinner donations can be brought to the Church on Sunday 15th December This collection will be the last one until January 2025
As the Foodbank continues to experience a significant decrease in donations but an increase in the amount of people and families needing support, all donations are welcome. Your support as always is greatly appreciated.
LANGBANK CHURCH JOURNEY THROUGH CHRISTMAS
Come along to Langbank’s Journey Through Christmas on Saturday 14th [10am – 4pm] and Sunday 15th [12 noon – 3pm] December in the church. The journey takes you from angels to shepherds, from Holy Family to wise men. The innkeeper’s stop is the tea-room. This is an all-age interactive event with a variety of novelties to collect along the way explaining the true story of Christmas.
